Ciao a tutti,

il giorno 10 e 13 Marzo ho osservato e studiato la stella Variabile GU Leo con la nuova strumentazione Meade SC 10" su montatura Eq6 senza autoguida.

GU Leo è una stella variabile ad eclisse del tipo EW posta alle coordinate 09 47 33.75 +18 21 42.8 nella costellazione del Leone, poco distante dalla stella alfa Regolo.
La magnitudine della stella variabile ha un range da 11.67 a 12.33 con un periodo di 0.354085gg ed epoca HJD 2452385.26210
Purtroppo non sono riuscito a riprendere il punto di minimo in maniera da poter costruire il diagramma O-C e quindi calcolare il vero punto di minimo per confrontarlo con i dati esposti dalla AAVSO.

GU Leo is a variable star eclipsing type EW placed at coordinates 09 47 33.75 +18 21 42.8 in the constellation Leo, not far from the alpha star Regulus.
The magnitude of the variable star has a range from 11.67 to 12.33 with a period of time and 0.354085gg HJD 2452385.26210
Unfortunately I was unable to resume its lowest point so that you can build the OC diagram and then calculate the real low point for comparison with the data presented by the AAVSO.

Ho osservato questo sistema binario il 10/03/2015 ed il giorno 13/03/2015, dal solito posto soggetto da inquinamento luminoso in provincia di Treviso, con un Meade SC 10'' a fuoco diretto (2500mm) con Reflex D5000 su montatura EQ6.

Osservazione inaspettata

Ciao a tutti,

ho fatto un' osservazione del tutto inaspettata!!

Riprendendo la stella variabile V742 Cep è capitato nel campo inquadrato questo sistema binario NSVS 1374490 che inizialmente mi ha fatto sobbalzare sulla sedia perchè pensavo ad una nuova scoperta.

Ma VSX AAVSO mi ha tolto ogni dubbio.

Infatti il sistema è già noto con una magnitudine compresa tra la 13.0° e la 13.6° con un periodo di 0.41042 d.

Grazie a questo breve periodo sono riuscito a identificare parte del grafico di fase con appena 2h50' totali di osservazione.

 Il giorno 24/10/2014 ho acquisito per appena 53' perchè ho suddiviso le osservazioni con la variabile V737 CEP.

Mentre il 28/10/2014 ho dedicato tutto il mio tempo disponibile alla V742 CEP ed NSVS 1374490 per 1h57'.

il sistema binario NSVS 1374490 non si trova esattamente alle coordinate 22:13:11.08 +71:06:23.7 come indicato in VSX AAVSO ma alle coordinate 22:13:11.88 +71:06:16.8 confermato dal mio caro amico Riccardo Furgoni ricercatore e cacciatore di stelle variabili.

the binary system NSVS 1374490 is not exactly at the coordinates 22: 13: 11.08 +71: 06: 23.7 as shown in VSX AAVSO but at coordinates 22: 13: 11.88 +71: 06: 16.8 confirmed by my dear friend Riccardo Furgoni researcher and hunter of variable stars.
