La componente più luminosa è una gigante arancione avente classe spettrale K0 con massa 4 volte quella del Sole ed un raggio solare 33 volte superiore.
Ha una temperatura superficiale di 4500°K ed un'età stimata di 300 milioni di anni.
La componente più piccola e meno luminosa è una stella bianca di classe spettrale A2 con una magnitudine apparente di 5.12.
La componente B possiede una massa di 2 volte quella del Sole con un raggio 2 volte superiore.
La sua temperatura superficiale è di 8700° K.
La separazione delle due stelle non è poi cosi facile in quanto la separazione apparente è di appena 2,8'' il che comporta l'utilizzo di un telescopio di almeno 150mm con 100 ingrandimenti per riuscire a dividerle.
